Stephanie Alvarez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Marymount Manhattan College. Since graduating in 2010, she has been working in children’s education and theatre performance. In 2012, she co-wrote, produced and performed in a theatre piece, “Border Sweet Border”, that showed in a inside view of an immigration hearing. She continues to find ways to support the immigrant community by bringing current issues to the younger demographic. In December 2012, she produced “Same Fate as the Poor” with MCIF. She is delighted to be on the board for MCIF.
